thea on March 6, 2009 at 3:11pmStyle Court was launched in May 2006 with a focus on decorative arts, books, art history and interior design. (My B.A. is in art history and my masters is in education.) Past adventures include a five-year stint as a docent at the High Museum of Art. My written work has appeared in Southern Accents and other publications. The blog's title is a play on my name, Courtney Barnes, and the concept of "court" as a gathering place. Critical praise has come from the editors of Time, Elle Decor, Domino, Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles, 1stdibs, Country Living, Apartment Therapy L.A., and from decorator Ruthie Sommers.
